Official spoiler for Citroen C1
The trend towards personalization all-new models will kill a certain idea of tuning. Yet, manufacturers have been offering many years all sorts of official documents to make your car like no other … like adding a spoiler to your C1 68 horses!
The C1 is still in the catalog and behaves quite well in the Citroën range with 9407 sales in France during the first quarter of 2010, behind C3 and C4 but ahead of other manufacturer’s models and 16% better than the Peugeot 107 cousin!

Citroen C5 1.6 THP as automatic
Citroen has been recently add the 1.6 THP 163 hp and 2.0 HDiF to the C5 range, there is now also the 1.6 turbo automatic transmission
The six-speed automatic makes 156 hp at the C5 for a CO2 emissions of 179 grams per kilometer. This leads to a sedan-C label, the longer Tourer gets a B-label by.
By default, the C5 1.6 THP on a hand-speed gearbox. As the machine cost, Citroen can not report.
Citroen launches Citroen GQ, “fashionable” hybrid concept
It is, and probably will remain an exercise in style, but certainly strikes the eye (and heart) of fans. Citroen has released the first images of the Web GQ concept, idea of a hybrid sport which owes its name to the famous fashion magazine. The creative team directed by Dylan Jones has in fact collaborated in the creation of lines and interiors.
Geneva 2010: Citroen Survolt
Why, Citroen, why we do this to us? Did they treat you badly? So why torture us with concepts such as Survolt lustfully desirable if they propose to production? Citroen Spain the C4 1.4i 16v engine tweak
Citroen seems willing to maintain their sales on top in Spain and therefore has just completed a series of adjustments to the engine 1.4i 16v of C4 that can reduce emissions up to 149 g / km. With the new data, the compact 2000E eligible for the Plan and boasting an amazingly low price, which starts at 9.900 €.
Vehicle Recall: Peugeot 307, 308, 807 and Expert, Citroen C5
It’s Saturday, so it’s back to the load with the part of revisions to the European Union. This week the alert list of failures reported in various models of Peugeot, and in the family four-door saloon and the Citroën C5 (oddly enough, affected by defects of various kinds). Starter:
Peugeot 307, 308, 807 and Expert: It has been found that the models produced between 2006 and 2008 could be out of the chains with a control unit to prevent “proper recognition” of the position of the light control, so that these could shut for no reason. It seems clear that Peugeot models share review with the C2, C3, C3 Pluriel, Citroën C8, Jumpy, beset by the same problem. The manufacturer will contact owners of affected vehicles informing them of the service campaign.
Citroen C5 sedan: The ad, coming from Germany, mentions that Citroën used pieces of inadequate adjustment in the vertical fixing windscreens, there is a risk that these can come loose with the vehicle running. We have no production figures, but all vehicles were manufactured between 2007 and 2009.
Citroen C5 Tourer: Although it would be logical to think that the familiar version of the model shared with the saloon evils, the fact is that the C5 Tourer will have to go through the workshop because of the tailgate. Specifically, the newsletter alerts suggests that there is potential for loose boards cushions door on some vehicles manufactured in 2009, which would prevent proper operation. As with the sedan, Citroën will be responsible for informing the owners and proceed with the repairs.

Citroën DS High-Rider: High quality photos and some other detail
A few hours ago Citroen gave us a good foretaste of the next DS4 with the announcement of the High-Rider, a crossover concept that will debut officially on 2 March at the Geneva Motor Show. Then we only had a low quality photograph of the French constructor Facebook, but now we have the official photo and a brief press release describes their action (4.26 m long, 1.82 m wide and 1.48 m high) and the propulsion system, a diesel hybrid as we expected, whose technology will be shared with the Peugeot HYbrid4. The pity is that we have not a single render the interior, so you must be content for now to the design of the bodywork.
