Hyundai and Toyota over Honda’s most loyal customers in the U.S.
Motorists most loyal in the U.S.? Those who drive a Hyundai. In the first two months of 2010, Korea has overtaken the house in one fell swoop Toyota and Honda, until last year topped the list of “Owner Loyalty” compiled by the authoritative Kelley Blue Book.
The Japanese giant has slipped from first to last step of the podium, while Honda was on the second. Today, 56.3% of the holders of a Hyundai confirms its confidence in the mark when they change the car. Last year, Hyundai was at 45.9%, a remarkable leap.
The same index is at 55.8% for Honda (55.1% last year), and decreased from 57.7% to 53.3% for Toyota, following the recent events of recalls. According to Kelley Blue Book is all the merit of the unprecedented ix35 (which in America is still called Tucson) and Sonata. The new sedan in particular, is already among the best-selling models in the U.S. market
